Folks.. I am getting close to saying its time to put a "finished
sign" on the long, long promised A3 DVD. This is a compilation of
virtually everything I could gather and includes many wonderful
things never brought together in one place. Recently, I've been able
to add scans of A3 manuals being made by ///er Paul Santa-Maria out
in Temperance, Michigan. ///er David Craig has also contributed to
this DVD in many ways. It remains amazing to me that we still have a
community who cares enough to spend time documenting all this
material! Thank you.

Anyway, the bottom line is that I want to make the DVD available to
all of you on this list at no cost except for a little help with
postage and packaging. I think $5.00 is reasonable.

I don't want anything yet, but I'll let you know soon. All you'll
have to do is get me your address and send me a $5.00 bill and that
will take care of it. Any thing left over will go to help WAP's
recycling effort (we've given out hundreds of Apples and Macs over
the years to charities and individuals around the world.)

I can't say the DVD will be fancy or look professionally printed but
it will have some great stuff you may never have seen before!

I'll attach a screen shot of what the folders look like - not sure
Mr. altair.com will let it through.

It's weighing in at 2.4 GB right now, by the way. Those text files
don't take up much room!

Does this DVD include the disk images from the WAP archive?

Folks - in talking with David Craig, it seems worthwhile to hold onto
the distribution so that we can include the WAP A3 PD Library as part
of the DVD. I think you'll agree this is well worth the wait.

Please know that I will likely let WAP sell this disk but I want YOU
to have a copy because you just should - you all have cared enough to
be part of this list and keep the flame burning and I know you
appreciate what has gone into it.

I want you to know too that I'm sending a copy of BOS /// to Dave to
include in the archive because we need to make sure Bob Consorti's
work is preserved in some way. WAP owns this program, as it helped
pay for it's programming.

So hold on a bit longer - as soon as I can get a few "problem" disks
to Dave (they are done- just need to mail) he'll do his part and,
with hopefully we'll be able to get the archive into the DVD. (Paul
Santa-Maria has also been of great help in doing some scans, etc.)

I haven't had time to update the "What's in Here?" file but will
attach what I have from last May - but other than a few additions and
moving some things around, this is what you'll get (along with the A3
PD library of course).

Dave
